The 2009 Summer season
My team played at several tournaments and 16/U college show cases against older teams.
Our team finished the season this weekend by winning the 16/U Mac N Seitz College showcase, by winning the Championship game 8-3. Our team finished the season by going 40-7-3 this season playing college showcase tournaments. Great season and have a lot of memories.
I threw out a runner runner at homeplate from right field, with two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning to secure a 6-5 victory in our final pool game. I had a hit with two outs in the 5th inning of the semi final game, which led to a two run rally and a 3-2 win in the semi final game. In the championship game, I laid down a suicide squeeze, to score the go ahead run in a 8-3 come from behind win.
It was a good summer season, and have plans on attending some college camps this fall.
