cutting off my pitch is where I short arm it and don't follow through all the way and finish the pitch

I'm the same age. I would say that is good velocity for both pitches. got to hit your spots. i max out at 87 and am told that is really good for my age
Working on good finish. Need to extend out more and not cut off my pitch.
