Does anyone know what are some good things to do during the off season to strengthen my arm?

I am trying to strengthen my arm for the offseason and I was wondering what I can do to help strengthen it. If anyone has free workouts or tips that helped you let me know .

I'm the same age. I would say that is good velocity for both pitches. got to hit your spots. i max out at 87 and am told that is really good for my age

I was wondering how fast a pitcher of my age (15) should throw, I can reach 83-85mph with my 4-seamer and in the middle 70's with my changeup. Maybe good to notice that 2009 was my first ever season as a pitcher. With kind regards, Kim van Lavieren

One thing I've found that helped me add movement and velocity to my pitches is to quicken the motion a little which gets my hips out infront of me first then allows my arms to follow which puts less stress on my arm and allows my legs to do the work.

yeah i get mad support. yeah when i keep my shoulder squared for as long as possible i tend to throw harder and were i want to

Another thing I have found to increase velocity is staying tight on the glove side (pull or fold the glove under the arm arm pit), don't lock out the front knee let it have a slight bend, and finish out front with a good push and a flat back. Definately agree with Devine-Carter too.

those looking to increase speed, there is 2 things i think will help the most.
1. mechanics. keep it simple, bend the back leg and do what is natural to you. too many players my age try and throw like popular pitchers, but those pitchers didn't get where they are by copying

2. RUN. the greatest baseball decision i ever made was to run on the cross country team. i didn't even know it would help, and between my u14 season and freshmen high school season, i picked up 9 MPH on my fastball, and i only gained 5 pounds and grew 1 inch, so it wasn't that. pitching is all in the legs. you don't have to go join the XC team, but run at least 3 times a week, for about 2 miles each time

Blisters
Has anybody found a way to cure and/or prevent blisters on your pitching hand fingers?
