I am a coach of 15u level baseball and my advice is coming from a 2010 pitcher I just watched on Sunday. His recommendation was to find the pitch you're going to be consistent with. While the circle is very effective when it works, he indicated that it was too inconsistent. He now has a very wicked straight change variation that he can throw where he wants it to go. He can always add the circle over time. I am using this advice to advise my own son who is a pitcher.

I am a coach of a 14u travel team. I teach the palm ball as a changeup. The kids are use to it because when they were little that is how they threw the ball.
